Miranda came to Middle Eastern Dance by way of modern dance, ballet and flamenco. She has appeared in such venues as Lincoln Center Festival; Performing Arts Series, The United Nations, Town Hall, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and Atlantic City's Resort Hotel. Her television appearances include MTV's Music Awards with Shamiradance Fox 5 10 O'clock News and Good Day New York.  Miranda  has worked with Serena's Dance Troupe, Gamela el Masri's Benat el Nesme, Anahid Sofian Dance Company, and Mystical Motion.  Miranda has a BFA in painting and presently teaches Pilates inspired body movement.  Her other interests include The Alexander Technique, Reike and Yoshida Dynamic Movement as well as other additional forms of body therapy and healing work, which she believes lends itself to the dance.
